Description

  • Set a clear product vision and roadmap with senior leaders to grow and scale mortgage product offerings.
  • Use data and business insights to evaluate product performance against business objectives and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Monitor competitive and industry trends to identify customer needs and emerging opportunities.
  • Own the full product development lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, development, and implementation.
  • Manage the product backlog with rigor and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate go-to-market activities and align execution with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Engineering, and other partners across the organization.
  • Motivate and guide the engineering squad to overcome challenges and improve team performance.
  • Foster trust, strong communication, and positive team dynamics across squads and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and clear communication to senior leaders, stakeholders, and team members.

Requirements

  • Mortgage origination subject matter expertise.
  • Encompass experience preferred.
  • Ability to move between strategy and execution in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong product management experience with client journeys and the ability to synthesize data.
  • Technical background with an understanding of broader business needs and strategy.
  • Ability to define complex user stories with thorough acceptance criteria and use cases.
  • Deep user empathy and the ability to propose credible solutions that address user needs.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean Startup, and Design Thinking; A/B testing experience preferred.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to explain complex trade-offs and tell a compelling product story.
  • Experience leading cross-functionally across levels of the organization and with multiple personality types.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and curiosity to reevaluate existing designs.
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders while managing risks and ensuring compliance and legal standards.
  • Experience with fintech and products serving millions of people preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $150,000 - $205,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for a bonus.
