Description

  • Take ownership of the design, implementation, and release of product features with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Build and maintain data processing pipelines and backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Help improve engineering practices across the team.
  • Contribute to the core application that helps customers use the company’s data effectively.
  • Work on multiple parts of the platform as part of a small team.
  • Support the ongoing development of a real-time, data-driven platform operating at scale.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL, including Postgres and Redshift.
  • Experience with data-driven applications.
  • Interest in serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and modern development tooling.
  • Product-minded approach with focus on user outcomes.
  • Experience working in a remote-first team.
  • Availability to work in the GMT timezone.
  • Bonus: exposure to React.
  • Bonus: exposure to Serverless Framework.
  • Bonus: exposure to DBT.
