Description

  • Write the first lines of production code and set the technical direction for the company.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of product and engineering initiatives as a co-founder.
  • Harden Ava's voice and workflow systems for in-production reliability.
  • Establish core architecture, observability, and audit-trail standards.
  • Build the internal RaaS delivery layer to configure, monitor, and optimize AI performance without adding engineering headcount.
  • Own unit economics by balancing AI quality against cost-per-call within the $499/month pricing model.
  • Represent the company to lawyers, partners, and investors as the technical voice of the venture.
  • Convert pilots into paying customers and expand the AI staff into adjacent roles.
  • Recruit and lead the founding engineering team and help establish the company culture.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping LLM-powered and voice systems into production environments where errors had serious consequences.
  • Full-stack confidence across applied LLMs, real-time voice and conversational AI, telephony, human-in-the-loop workflows, observability, and secure multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Strong convictions about reliability engineering, edge-case management, and the trade-offs between AI quality and cost-per-call.
  • Experience building managed or service-heavy platforms with discipline to scale delivery without scaling engineering headcount.
  • Prepared to operate as a principal and make hard calls about readiness and scalability.
  • Strongly preferred: prior founder or early-stage technical leadership experience.
  • Strongly preferred: background in legal tech, healthcare, or another trust-sensitive vertical.
  • Strongly preferred: capability to self-host custom models to meet legal and privacy needs.
