Description

  • Commission internal and external writers for long-form and special projects content.
  • Plan and manage publication schedules for long-form editorial output.
  • Edit long-form content and ensure it aligns with the brand’s editorial voice.
  • Promote audience engagement and extend content reach across SEO, LLMs, direct traffic, newsletters, social media, and other channels.
  • Work with management, development, audience, and other teams to identify and develop long-form content opportunities.
  • Support commercial and special project tasks, including campaign ideas and delivery of traditional and multimedia content.
  • Help create audience surveys, research reports, and other special project materials.
  • Represent the brand at industry events by interviewing experts and reporting on trends.
  • Produce or contribute to a range of formats including news, long-form articles, reviews, video, podcasts, and updates.
  • Assist the senior editorial team in building a successful B2B long-form content portfolio.

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience planning and implementing long-form and special projects content strategy.
  • Experience developing individual writers and long-form content teams.
  • Experience leading by example, inspiring colleagues, and setting a clear vision for success.
  • Experience working with teams and partners to develop a successful B2B division.
  • Knowledge of the tech industry, strategy, and competition/industry landscape.
  • Ability to create engaging long-form content across multiple platforms and distribution channels.
  • Understanding of how to support commercial partnerships through high-trafficked long-form and custom content.
  • Willingness to follow Future’s ESG policy around fake news and misinformation.
  • UK remote-based availability.
  • Editorial 5 internal job family level.
