Description

  • Conduct initial discussions and discovery sessions with clients to uncover business challenges, technical needs, and expected outcomes.
  • Assess and document clients’ current infrastructure, applications, and operational workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design tailored, scalable, and cost-efficient managed services and cloud solutions that address client requirements.
  • Develop and present clear solution proposals that communicate technical strategy, value, and benefits to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, project management, and support teams to validate solution viability and ensure smooth handoff to implementation teams.
  • Serve as the technical liaison during client decision-making, guiding technology choices and producing actionable plans for the Projects team.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and consult with internal stakeholders to expand and improve company offerings.
  • Train and educate internal teams on new solutions, sales strategies, and deployment methods to support solution adoption and delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of technical support experience in an MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop and server operating systems.
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and design, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Extensive experience designing cloud solutions, including Microsoft 365/O365, Azure, Azure AD, and Intune.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
  • Experience with Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools (Datto RMM a plus) and Autotask PSA (a plus).
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) considered a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong client advocacy and self-motivation.
