Description

  • Build new and refine existing feature offerings in one or more core products.
  • Develop iterative enhancements and new products and modules.
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies for use within the application.
  • Consult with Product Managers and UX Designers on proposed new features.
  • Collaborate with other feature delivery teams to deliver solutions for customers.
  • Monitor logs, metrics, and traces and provide application triage support as needed.
  • Mentor software developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Help set the technical direction of the product and technology offerings.
  • Maintain and modernize the FMX technology stack.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of development experience.
  • Experience with at least one automated testing framework.
  • Experience deploying applications to at least one major cloud provider.
  • Experience planning, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring features in production.
  • Several years of experience interacting with APIs.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with incomplete specifications.
  • Ability to write readable, correct, and performant code.
  • A strong match with FMX core pillars: Teamwork, Excellence, and Integrity.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Framework 4, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC 5, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, LINQ to SQL, T-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery plugins, Azure Functions, MS Test, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Terraform, and New Relic.
  • Preferred qualities include strategic thinking, problem-solving, creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to learn the product quickly.
