Description

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP close processes.
Lead global consolidation across entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, including intercompany accounting and eliminations.
Manage technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, complex transactions, accounting policies, and GAAP interpretation.
Prepare and review internal and external financial reporting.
Improve accounting systems, integrations, financial data architecture, automation, and controls.
Partner with People Operations on global payroll accounting, reconciliations, and controls.
Oversee banking, treasury administration, entity support, expenses, vendors, and finance documentation.
Lead external financial statement audits and manage auditor relationships.
Establish accounting policies, procedures, controls, and documentation.
Develop accounting team members and improve finance operations without relying primarily on additional headcount.

Requirements

Active CPA required.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close, consolidation, reporting, and technical accounting.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to resolve complex accounting matters independently.
Experience in a post-Series B or later-stage, high-growth technology company.
Experience with global entities, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany transactions, and international accounting operations.
Strong revenue recognition and advanced accounting experience in a SaaS or technology business.
Experience owning annual external audits and audit readiness.
Strong understanding of accounting systems, ERP environments, integrations, and financial data flows.
Experience using automation, AI, and technology to improve finance operations.
Experience partnering on payroll across multiple countries or providers and managing accounting professionals in a lean environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work across strategic, technical, systems, and hands-on responsibilities in an evolving environment.
Ability to work U.S. business hours.
Remote work based in India; Mumbai or Bangalore preferred.
