Description

  • Facilitate Zoom deposition sessions with professionalism and warmth.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues for participants, including audio and screen-sharing problems.
  • Ensure optimal audio conditions to support accurate transcript capture by the transcription software.
  • Administer oaths and manage on-the-record and off-the-record transitions during proceedings.
  • Follow established procedural scripts and legal prompts to keep sessions consistent and accurate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a composed, professional presence throughout each proceeding.
  • Provide a smooth and welcoming experience for all participants during remote legal sessions.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public license in the state listed in the job posting.
  • Strong internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Video-enabled computer with the necessary software capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work standard business hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday.
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing software.
  • Experience in the legal industry is a bonus.
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
