Description

  • Facilitate Zoom sessions professionally and courteously to create a smooth, welcoming experience for all participants.
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues for attendees (e.g., muted audio, screen sharing problems).
  • Ensure optimal audio conditions and safeguard transcript quality for Depositions by Filevine transcription software.
  • Administer oaths, manage on/off-the-record moments, and handle procedural steps that support a seamless legal process.
  • Follow provided scripts and procedural forms with timeliness, accuracy, and close attention to detail.
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain a composed, professional presence throughout each proceeding.
  • Assist participants with basic conferencing tasks and help ensure transcripts are captured accurately.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public license in the state listed in the job posting (must reside in that state).
  • Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
  • Reliable, strong internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Video-enabled computer with necessary software capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Availability to generally accommodate standard business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday).
  • Experience in the legal industry (preferred/bonus).
