Description

  • Lead the strategic direction of a project for a global brand, defining a brand new paid consumer service from scratch.
  • Develop membership models, tiered experiences, and pricing strategy.
  • Create service blueprints and design the end-to-end service ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape experiences that millions of people will use.
  • Partner directly with VP/GM-level stakeholders in a client-facing leadership capacity.
  • Design how the service works across touchpoints, tiers, and underlying business model.
  • Contribute to boardroom discussions and working sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Help build intelligent, highly personal product and brand experiences for major organizations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States or Canada.
  • Fully remote freelance contract role.
  • 10+ years of experience in service design, service strategy, or similar consulting roles.
  • Experience designing paid consumer services, memberships, or subscription models at scale.
  • Comfort leading senior client relationships and navigating complex organizations.
  • Strong business-model thinking alongside service design craft.
  • Experience in sport, hospitality, events, or travel is a big bonus.
  • Available for a 3-5 month contract starting soon.
