Description

  • Design and operate systems that provide visibility into vulnerabilities across cloud and container environments.
  • Own the collection, normalization, and surfacing of vulnerability data for engineering teams.
  • Improve how security findings are correlated and prioritized to reduce noise and speed remediation.
  • Integrate security data with SIEM and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Implement and evolve security controls across AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering to embed security guardrails, policies, and best practices into the platform.
  • Help engineers understand and act on security findings through secure-by-default patterns, tooling, and workflows.
  • Build and automate security controls aligned with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
  • Ensure systems generate audit evidence without slowing down delivery teams.
  • Embed security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and standardize how scans run and results are reported.

Requirements

  • Experience in cloud security, platform engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or similar.
  • Background integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SIEM or security data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TLS.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or FedRAMP.
  • Remote, home-based work location in the United States.
  • Salary range of $132,900 to $177,200 per year, with potential variable compensation.
