Description

  • Work with clients and delivery teams to define system requirements and determine effective implementation approaches.
  • Design, develop, and deliver software using agile practices such as pair programming, TDD, and CI/CD.
  • Automate system infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Provide production support for owned systems under a “you build it, you run it” model.
  • Advocate agile practices within client organizations.
  • Mentor client team members and share technical knowledge.
  • Improve clients’ and teams’ software delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver pragmatic solutions using fast feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and operating enterprise-scale distributed systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least one programming language and its associated tooling.
  • Experience with additional programming languages is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with test-driven development and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of agile development principles and their application across different contexts.
  • Strong communication skills, including effective collaboration with remote, globally distributed teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including a willingness to share knowledge and work toward common goals.
  • Experience developing distributed systems using microservice architectures and RESTful services is preferred.
  • Experience running large-scale production systems in containerized or cloud environments using AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
  • Growth mindset and passion for technology.
