Description

  • Set AI priorities and identify, evaluate, and govern internal AI use cases.
  • Lead and coach AI-focused presales professionals while remaining hands-on in strategic customer engagements.
  • Advise customer executives and technical teams through recommendations, roadmaps, briefings, and discovery workshops.
  • Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, shape solutions, and support complex pursuits.
  • Guide AI initiatives from use-case definition through prototypes, business cases, delivery plans, and broader rollout.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, business teams, and technology partners to build secure solutions.
  • Create repeatable ePlus offerings, sales plays, reference architectures, demonstrations, and team resources.
  • Represent ePlus at customer events, executive briefings, webinars, conferences, and partner programs.
  • Build regional AI growth plans, manage technology partner relationships, and track pipeline, win rates, and revenue.
  • Review proposals, Statements of Work, project scopes, and designs to confirm delivery feasibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in presales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or technical sales.
  • 3+ years leading, mentoring, or managing technical presales, engineering, or architecture teams.
  • Experience designing, positioning, or implementing AI, machine learning, analytics, automation, cloud, or related solutions.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales organizations to drive technical wins and revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of generative AI, large language models, AI infrastructure, data platforms, and AI governance.
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated player-coach leadership and experience taking AI initiatives from use case to prototype, business case, and rollout.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud AI, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Relevant AI, cloud, architecture, or data certifications and knowledge of responsible AI, security, and compliance preferred.
