Description

  • Write high-quality, clean, and reliable code using practices such as Test Driven Development.
  • Lead the delivery of mid-to-large scale projects and coordinate engineers to meet business requirements.
  • Identify risks and help balance quality, cost, time, and maintainability in solution design.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to design and implement impactful solutions.
  • Apply AI to engineering practices, including agentic workflows and smarter pipelines.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to help teammates learn and grow.
  • Work on strategic architectural problems, tactical improvements, and production system maintenance.
  • Take ownership of built systems, including verifying functionality and participating in on-call support.
  • Seek to understand business model and user needs to deliver sustainable, high-impact solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience, including lead responsibility on several projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant server-side and client-side programming languages.
  • Experience building dynamic public-facing web applications.
  • Use of engineering practices that emphasize maintainability, clarity, automated testing, and sustainable solution-building.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs between experimentation, rapid iteration, and production reliability.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a shared-ownership team environment.
  • Willingness to learn from others and seek constructive feedback.
  • Commitment to keeping the community safe and secure.
  • Experience with on-call support and production systems (preferred based on role scope).
