Description

  • Build and maintain intricate backend systems using Node.js.
  • Design and implement system architecture and database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain complex event-driven systems.
  • Build highly performant APIs supporting data visualizations.
  • Address scalability requirements and improve system performance.
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Learn and apply complex systems and new technologies quickly.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on high-impact technology.
  • Apply creative problem-solving to challenging technical problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable Node.js experience building complex backend systems.
  • Working knowledge of system architecture and database design.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex event-driven systems.
  • Demonstrable experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience developing high-performance APIs for data visualizations.
  • Experience addressing scalability and performance improvements.
  • Strong creative problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Startup experience, continuous integration, and test-driven development experience are preferred.
