Description

  • Set and drive a multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap for Engine’s travel content ecosystem across hotels, cars, and flights, balancing quality, scale, speed, and business impact.
  • Define what “great content” means at Engine (accuracy, completeness, freshness, relevance, utility) and translate that definition into product requirements and success metrics.
  • Design and build scalable content pipelines and systems for source ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery to product surfaces.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to introduce and evolve tooling across content workflows, including attribute extraction and normalization, deduping/entity resolution, catalog clustering, automated enrichment, and structured validation/exception handling.
  • Use experimentation and data-driven iteration to validate content improvements and prioritize the highest-value system enhancements.
  • Identify high-impact content gaps and close them through product, pipeline, and partner improvements to improve conversion, attach, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure content aligns with actual inventory, policies, fees, restrictions, and attributes to reduce downstream friction and customer surprises.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Supply, and Content Ops; create specs, launch plans, and keep teams aligned through ambiguity.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, fintech, or data-heavy domains.
  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, technical product areas from zero → one with measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical toolkit and comfort querying data (SQL), defining KPIs, and using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering and Data Science teams on integrated data products and pipelines.
  • Track record of shipping product improvements that moved measurable customer and/or revenue metrics.
  • Comfort with strategy → PRD → launch → measurement → iteration cycle and working quickly through ambiguity.
  • Interest in and experience with AI/automation or ML-adjacent product surfaces (preferred).
  • Prior experience with travel content, vertical catalog systems, marketplace inventory products, or building/using LLM-based tools in production (nice to have).

Benefits

  • Base pay range: $177,820 — $246,100 USD.
  • Competitive base salary with opportunities for equity and/or variable pay (OTE), plus potential bonuses or commissions.
  • Hybrid-hub work model with options for in-office or fully remote arrangements and support to ensure employees have what they need to succeed.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (details available at engine.com/culture); perks and benefits may vary by role, employment type, and location.
  • Cash-flow-positive, rapidly growing company backed by investors with recognition for growth and workplace quality.
