Description

  • Own PLG strategy and execution across acquisition, activation, expansion, cross-sell, and referrals.
  • Lead the communications platform, including trigger logic, CustomerIO integrations, and notification strategy.
  • Build and scale experimentation systems, including hypothesis development, test sizing, targeting, cohort design, deployment standards, and post-test learning.
  • Develop horizontal growth surfaces such as dashboard cards, banners, tooltips, empty states, and post-booking modals.
  • Build next-best-action targeting models in partnership with the data science team.
  • Balance short-term experiment velocity with longer-term foundational product investments such as onboarding architecture, AM triaging systems, and intent collection.
  • Manage and develop a team of PMs while aligning with design, engineering, data, and go-to-market partners.
  • Improve activation by delivering the right experience to the right user before conversion.
  • Clarify when to experiment versus when to invest in durable infrastructure, and align the organization around that distinction.
  • Drive multi-product adoption and help customers discover and use additional Engine products at scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management.
  • 2+ years leading a team of PMs or working in a group PM capacity.
  • Deep PLG experience building or scaling self-serve growth motions.
  • Strong AI execution, with the ability to ship small-cut fixes and use Claude or GPT in daily workflows.
  • Experience designing experiments, including test sizing, hypothesis development, guardrails, and post-test learning.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort using Amplitude and funnel analysis.
  • Systems thinking with the ability to distinguish foundational product investment from lightweight experimentation.
  • Cross-functional credibility working with engineers, designers, data, and go-to-market teams.
  • Hands-on leadership style that combines strategy setting with direct execution.
  • Experience with multi-product growth or expansion motions is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $188,200 to $260,500 USD.
  • Competitive base pay with opportunities for equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
  • Potential for bonuses and commissions.
  • Hybrid-hub model with support for both office-based and fully remote work.
