Description

  • Own the end-to-end DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, and release management.
  • Design and enforce standardized pathways from prototype to staging to production for AI-generated applications and experimentation environments.
  • Drive versioning, monitoring, rollback, and observability across AI and traditional applications.
  • Architect and manage prompt engineering environments, model orchestration, API integrations, and validation pipelines.
  • Define how AI prototypes evolve into internal tools, client-facing applications, and public-facing platforms.
  • Own global cloud infrastructure, primarily Microsoft Azure, to ensure high availability, security, compliance, and scalability.
  • Build secure enterprise AI environments with data isolation, sandboxing, RBAC, and secure API orchestration.
  • Recruit, develop, and scale global DevOps, cloud engineering, and AI infrastructure teams.
  • Establish operating models, workflows, and performance expectations across distributed teams, contractors, and partners.
  • Own the technology budget, including forecasting, cost optimization, vendor management, and ROI-driven investment decisions.
  • Lead enterprise integration strategy across internal systems, third-party platforms, and partner ecosystems.
  • Oversee digital infrastructure assets including domain registries, DNS, SSL lifecycle management, global routing, and web infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT DevOps, AI infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience owning DevOps and infrastructure in environments scaling from startup to enterprise, including $100M–$1B+ organizations.
  • Track record of taking products from MVP to production-grade systems.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing global engineering or infrastructure teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience managing technology budgets, optimizing cloud spend, and aligning investments with business outcomes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or an equivalent cloud platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, infrastructure-as-code, networking, DNS, and distributed systems.
  • Experience managing complex integrations across APIs, data visualization platforms, and ERP/supply chain technologies.
  • Ability to operate at an executive and architectural level while remaining hands-on with system building.
  • Experience operationalizing LLMs, AI platforms, and low-code/no-code ecosystems in enterprise settings (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of AI reliability, evaluation, scaling challenges, and enterprise governance (preferred).
  • Motivation to apply technology and AI to global water and energy infrastructure (preferred).
