Description

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI-powered software applications.
  • Define and deliver multi-team growth strategies with measurable outcomes through ownership of product capabilities and technical systems.
  • Lead the design and delivery of software solutions across specific product areas or multi-component systems.
  • Establish engineering best practices, improve system reliability, and reduce technical debt.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance technical requirements with business goals.
  • Lead by example through high-quality code, thoughtful code reviews, and hands-on mentorship.
  • Mentor senior engineers and model effective design reviews and cross-team influence.
  • Conduct experiments and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
  • Participate in and improve on-call rotations to maintain service reliability.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate user requirements into practical solutions.
  • Ability to work across the stack and build a minimum working product quickly.
  • Experience working on large-scale, user-facing applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience on a product growth team is preferred.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and pivoting directions; experience building 0→1 products is preferred.
  • Experience building user-facing web and/or desktop applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3 is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in backend development technologies such as Golang and Python is preferred.
  • Experience building large distributed systems at scale is preferred.

Benefits

  • US Zone 2 salary range: $223,400 to $302,200 USD.
  • US Zone 3 salary range: $198,600 to $268,600 USD.
  • The role is not available in US Zone 1.
