Description

Contribute to efficient and reliable sequences of operation for data center equipment and systems.
Develop sequences of operation in alignment with company goals and objectives.
Identify opportunities to differentiate controls strategies within the data center market.
Work with controls team members and other departments to complete assigned work.
Own completion of sequence of operations, HMI development, and on-time execution of testing.
Develop test plans and test scripts for performance and witness testing.
Contribute to efforts to automate end-of-line testing.
Work directly with senior team members on sequence of operation and test execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in controls design and implementation.
Working knowledge of HVAC and data center controls strategies.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Ability to review schematics and P&ID drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to create block programming, structured text, and ladder logic.
Understanding of fluid dynamics, psychrometrics, and HVAC electrical systems.
Experience with Siemens PLC.
Proven experience in controls strategy within the data center cooling industry, HVAC, or a related field.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with HVAC software systems, DDC/PLC-based controllers, building automation protocols, pumps, VFDs, and sensor/actuator systems.

100% remote contract opportunity.
Expected contract duration of 6 months.
Full-time onsite positions available in Memphis, Minneapolis, and Oklahoma City.
