Description

  • Own Descript's social presence across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant channels.
  • Develop channel-specific social strategy, content calendars, publishing cadence, and engagement frameworks.
  • Build systems to repurpose one piece of content into multiple platform-native formats.
  • Partner with Content, PMM, and Brand to keep social content aligned and on-message.
  • Produce or direct short-form social content.
  • Monitor conversations, trends, and brand mentions and engage in the right places.
  • Build and maintain social listening, response, and community management guidelines.
  • Create and run an employee advocacy program, including training, templates, and enablement resources.
  • Own execution of executive social programs in partnership with marketing and PMM leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of social media management experience, ideally in B2B or B2B/B2C hybrid environments.
  • Deep familiarity with the current social media and new media landscape.
  • Proven ability to build social systems and programs, not just manage a content calendar.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce platform-native content across tones and formats.
  • Data-informed approach to optimization and growth.
  • Experience building or running an employee advocacy program (preferred).
  • Experience supporting executive communications or thought leadership (preferred).
  • Background in content repurposing or multimedia content production (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Descript or similar creative and video tools (preferred).
