Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of legal engineering projects, including automation, document assembly, data extraction, and custom applications.
Analyse legal workflows with practice groups and design technology solutions to optimise processes.
Build and configure solutions using automation and low-code/no-code platforms.
Prepare technical specifications, implementation plans, and documentation.
Test, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve deployed solutions.
Collaborate with partners, lawyers, Technology, and Business Development teams to deliver legal tech solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for selected vendors, including implementation management and training.
Present solution designs, run user testing, and support adoption across teams.
Contribute to the legal technology roadmap, evaluate new tools, and support proof-of-concept and business case initiatives.
Mentor and guide Legal Engineers and Junior Legal Engineers while fostering knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Advanced degree or certifications in legal tech, innovation, or technology are preferred.
4+ years of experience in legal technology, legal engineering, legal operations, software development, or a related field delivering legal tech solutions from concept to deployment.
Hands-on experience with workflow automation, document automation, or legal applications.
Experience with legal technology platforms such as document automation, workflow tools, or legal AI.
Familiarity with process mapping, software development lifecycle, and testing practices.
Strong understanding of legal workflows and service delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience mentoring junior team members or working in client-facing/consulting roles is a plus.
