Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of venture capital managers.
  • Understand each fund’s stage, goals, and operational needs to help them use the VC Lab and Decile Group ecosystem effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including legal, finance, product, and operations to deliver timely support.
  • Track and manage interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes using internal tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the fund manager journey and share insights with the team.
  • Learn continuously about the venture ecosystem and contribute to product and process improvements.
  • Support fund managers as they launch and scale their firms.
  • Represent the company as the face of the organization for emerging managers worldwide.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client operations at a high-touch SaaS or professional services company.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in venture capital, fund administration, startup finance, or a related ecosystem.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to learn new tools quickly, including CRMs, project tracking tools, and finance systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional customer issues and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a composed and professional presence on video calls and in high-stress situations.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and strong follow-through.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to close loops independently.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in structured problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a globally distributed, fast-moving startup environment.
  • Experience in accelerators, venture studios, or startup communities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fund formation, LP reporting, or legal documentation workflows is preferred.
  • Multilingual ability or a global perspective is preferred.
