Description

  • Regularly meet with general partners to assess needs, streamline accounting processes, and ensure delivery of services.
  • Perform accounting, analytical, and financial reporting operations for venture capital funds.
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare investor allocations, ensure fees and allocations are correct, and prepare financial information for investor reports.
  • Partner with third-party providers to produce financial and investor information that supports tax preparation.
  • Use Decile’s tools to provide strategic support and accurate portfolio data and report metrics to help general partners make decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to improve the product and fund accounting software.
  • Deliver consultative client engagements to help turn fund administration into a scalable software-driven business and implement efficient, industry-leading processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of venture capital experience.
  • In-depth understanding of venture capital fund administration.
  • Thorough understanding of Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs).
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role and working directly with general partners.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organization and ability to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable thriving in a remote work environment.
  • U.S. work authorization required; the company does not support visa transfers.
