Description

  • Own the platform layer for the web team, including the web framework, design system, CMS, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, translation workflows, and SDLC agents.
  • Define the technical roadmap for component systems, rendering architecture, CMS, developer tooling, and delivery pipelines.
  • Help author the north star architecture for an AI-native web platform from the ground up.
  • Partner with technical leaders across web and marketing engineering on shared architectural decisions.
  • Pioneer an AI-native SDLC by applying agentic workflows to code generation, testing, review, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • Define evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and feedback loops that make agentic workflows reliable and production-ready.
  • Influence engineering and business stakeholders to align on platform strategy and execution.
  • Mentor and grow engineers on the team and set the standard for AI-native engineering practices.
  • Drive technical transformation such as stack consolidation and platform-wide standards adoption at scale.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of technical leadership and impact.
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience owning software systems for a team.
  • Proven experience leading a web platform with ownership of design systems, rendering frameworks, edge delivery, CI/CD, and infrastructure.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Demonstrated ability to make and execute multi-layer architectural decisions on a live production platform.
  • Experience sequencing and executing frontend framework migrations without disrupting production.
  • Clear point of view on AI-native software development and a track record of building toward it.
  • Familiarity with agentic systems or LLM-powered tooling is a strong plus.
  • Strong ability to influence technical leaders and drive alignment across engineering and business stakeholders.
  • History of driving technical transformation, such as stack consolidation or platform-level standards adoption at scale.

  • Zone 1 pay range of $198,200 to $272,600 USD.
