Description

  • Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities in coordination with COTR and sponsor staff.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to improve architectures, processes, incident handling, and reporting.
  • Ensure the operational readiness of IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.
  • Manage incident response operations and produce actionable analytical products.
  • Correlate information from security tools and synthesize data into actionable intelligence.
  • Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program.
  • Support task management, metrics collection, workload management, resource allocation, and management reporting.
  • Contribute to contract management activities and overall cyber defense program operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in the Risk Management Framework, including DoD and Air Force RMF.
  • Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
  • Extensive experience with one or more SIEM tools, such as Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, or CrowdStrike.
  • Experience with infrastructure and cloud security tools, including Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub.
  • Proficiency with a major cloud platform such as GCP, Azure, or AWS; GCP experience preferred.
  • At least one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, or CISSP; additional relevant certifications preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with task management, metrics collection, status reporting, resource allocation, workload management, or contract management preferred.

Benefits

  • Estimated salary of $145,000–$175,000, commensurate with experience and technical skills.
  • Primarily remote work arrangement.
