Description

  • Lead and manage finance and legal operations across UAE and international entities, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and reporting.
  • Build and oversee FP&A functions, including forecasting, pricing strategies, performance tracking, and financial modeling.
  • Ensure compliance through audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and implement financial systems, reporting frameworks, internal controls, automation, and scalable processes from scratch.
  • Prepare investor-ready materials such as dashboards, updates, and scenario planning models.
  • Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, legal and tax advisors, and government authorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to validate new ventures, optimize cost structures, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee finance team performance and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise asset management, inventory processes, and office lease and license renewals.
  • Deliver diagnostic reviews, financial strategy updates, and scale-up roadmaps to support business expansion.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of financial leadership experience, including 3+ years in executive roles such as CFO, VP Finance, or Finance Director.
  • Proven experience in fast-scaling startups or businesses that expanded from early-stage to multi-market operations.
  • Deep familiarity with Web3 ecosystems and the legal and regulatory landscape across jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of crypto-friendly jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks, especially in the UAE, Europe, and similar markets.
  • Experience owning both finance and legal functions in a high-growth or frontier industry environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement financial systems, reporting frameworks, and internal controls from scratch.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA, ACCA, CPA, or other global finance certifications are preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with tokenized assets is a strong plus.
