Description

  • Review completed referrals and accompanying medical reports to ensure all client questions have been addressed.
  • Verify that reports are complete, accurate, grammatically correct, and free of spelling errors.
  • Follow up with reviewers to resolve additional questions or clarify report content.
  • Follow up with clients when additional questions arise and provide frequent progress updates on referrals.
  • Ensure each referral meets the QA checklist before completion.
  • Format reports for approval.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, reviewers, and the Operations team.
  • Speak confidently with physicians and clients regarding the content of peer reviews.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Experience working with technology-based business processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform job duties that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and extensive computer work.
  • Must supply and maintain uninterrupted internet service for a work-from-home position.
