Description

  • Lead enterprise endpoint imaging, application packaging, deployment, patching, configuration, and VDI engineering.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain standardized endpoint images, including security baselines, software, drivers, versioning, rollback, and retirement processes.
  • Develop automated provisioning, enrollment, deployment, and configuration workflows using Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, or comparable platforms.
  • Package and troubleshoot commercial, government, and internally developed software, including installation, detection, dependency, upgrade, and removal logic.
  • Create and maintain approved scripts and automation for endpoint provisioning, packaging, configuration, and remediation.
  • Administer OS, application, driver, and firmware patching, including pilot groups, deployment rings, maintenance windows, exception processes, and compliance monitoring.
  • Engineer and support VDI base images, desktop pools, application delivery, and user profiles; resolve performance, connectivity, login, and profile issues.
  • Provide Tier 3/Tier 4 support for complex endpoint and VDI incidents, major incidents, root-cause corrective actions, and knowledge content improvements.
  • Implement approved cybersecurity remediations through change control, apply DISA STIGs and endpoint security baselines, and provide validation evidence.
  • Maintain endpoint inventories, deployment records, documentation, rollback plans, and endpoint health and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience where permitted.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in endpoint, systems, device-management, desktop, or VDI engineering.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Experience designing and maintaining enterprise endpoint images and developing, testing, and deploying application packages.
  • Experience with endpoint provisioning, deployment, patching, configuration, lifecycle management, and VDI.
  • Experience implementing endpoint security or vulnerability remediation through controlled testing, phased deployment, validation, and rollback.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, when relevant to the assigned Microsoft 365 or Intune environment.
  • Experience with Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID hybrid management, PowerShell, or Microsoft Graph (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise VDI platforms, DISA STIGs, RMF remediation evidence, large-scale OS migrations, device refreshes, or endpoint modernization (preferred).
