Description

  • Develop, test, version, release, roll back, and retire standardized endpoint images with required software, drivers, OS settings, and security baselines.
  • Build automated provisioning, enrollment, deployment task sequences, and configuration profiles using endpoint-management platforms.
  • Package, test, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial, government, and internally developed applications.
  • Develop and maintain approved scripts and automation for endpoint provisioning, packaging, configuration, and remediation.
  • Manage operating system, application, driver, and firmware patching through pilot groups, deployment rings, maintenance windows, and exception processes.
  • Engineer and support VDI images, desktop pools, application delivery, and user profiles; resolve performance, connectivity, login, and profile issues.
  • Support endpoint refreshes, OS upgrades, application migrations, and endpoint-management transitions.
  • Resolve complex endpoint and VDI incidents, perform root-cause corrective actions, and improve support documentation.
  • Implement approved cybersecurity remediations through change control, including DISA STIG and endpoint-security baseline updates, and provide validation evidence.
  • Maintain endpoint inventories, image and package records, patch status, SOPs, deployment and rollback plans, and health/compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience where permitted.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in endpoint, systems, device-management, desktop, or VDI engineering.
  • Experience maintaining enterprise endpoint images and developing, testing, and deploying application packages.
  • Experience with endpoint provisioning, deployment, patching, configuration, lifecycle management, and VDI.
  • Experience implementing endpoint-security or vulnerability remediation using controlled testing, phased deployment, validation, and rollback practices.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, when relevant to the assigned Microsoft 365 or Intune environment.
  • Experience with Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, and Entra ID hybrid endpoint management (preferred).
  • Experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, application packaging formats, enterprise VDI platforms, or federal/DoD endpoint environments including DISA STIGs (preferred).
  • Availability for occasional after-hours maintenance, deployment windows, critical-incident support, on-site work, or travel.
