  • Prepare and present financial management reports disaggregated by clinic/practice, specialty, procedure group, business unit, and payer group across key metrics (volumes, payer concentration, headcount), and compare actuals to prior year, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Assess finance subfunctions (e.g., revenue cycle management) and build or modify analytical resources, tools, models, metrics, and methodologies to address gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Design and maintain automated analytical models such as revenue waterfalls and physician compensation models to support decision-making.
  • Manage cash forecasting and liquidity analysis, including monthly and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Effectively transition implemented solutions and tools back to portfolio company teams and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives.

  • Significant knowledge of the healthcare industry, key players, stakeholders, and emerging market trends.
  • Experience serving healthcare service organizations (hospitals, multi-site/specialty practices, MSOs, health plans, risk-bearing care models, healthcare IT, pharmacy, etc.) or experience with advanced revenue cycle analytics and modeling (hindsight analysis, cash waterfall models, zero-balance analysis).
  • Proven success building and developing strong client relationships, including interaction with Controllers and accounting teams.
  • Fluent understanding of revenue recognition drivers and the primary elements of the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with experience building complex models for forecasting and executive dashboards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, presentation of analysis).
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL is a plus.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills for working with C-suite executives and managing engagement economics and timelines under private equity pace-of-play.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA is a plus; willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • Healthcare M&A transaction experience (investment banking, financial or operational due diligence) and demonstrated, responsible use of firm-approved AI tools are preferred.

Benefits

  • Full-time employment with a remote work arrangement.
  • Support from experienced leaders and a dedicated coach and access to a collaborative internal community.
  • Opportunities to contribute beyond client delivery, including involvement in firm initiatives and development of AI-enabled solutions.
  • Exposure to diverse PE-backed healthcare portfolio companies, providing professional growth and mentoring opportunities.
