Description

  • Administer and maintain Appian AoK environments for contract writing use cases within a DevSecOps platform.
  • Manage Appian deployments, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in accordance with vendor and organizational standards.
  • Monitor application health, performance, logs, and system alerts, and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Manage users, groups, roles, and security permissions within Appian.
  • Support application releases and environment promotions in coordination with development and DevOps teams.
  • Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support Appian environments hosted in AWS, including EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.
  • Assist with provisioning, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for Appian environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.

Requirements

  • US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification, or ability to obtain it within the first 3 months.
  • 3+ years of experience administering Appian applications in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including EKS or similar containerized technologies.
  • Hands-on experience supporting applications hosted in AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and application hosting.
  • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Appian Administrator or Developer certification preferred.
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Cloud Practitioner preferred.
  • Experience supporting government or regulated environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with SSO, IAM, and identity management integrations preferred.
  • Experience with scripting or automation such as Bash or Python preferred.
  • Exposure to FedRAMP, DoD, or other compliance frameworks preferred.
