Description

  • Support project controls by monitoring task order progress and preparing weekly and monthly consolidated reports.
  • Assist the Project Manager with contract administration and coordination across subcontractors, field operations, senior management, and government personnel.
  • Attend design reviews, pre-construction conferences, construction meetings, and safety meetings; prepare minutes and track action items to resolution.
  • Coordinate RFIs, contractor inquiries, submittals, and inspection-related documentation, escalating unresolved items as needed.
  • Review construction submittals and QA-related documents, including quality control plans, safety plans, shop drawings, warranty materials, and O&M manuals.
  • Conduct site visits, field observations, and inspections; prepare daily QA reports, inspection diaries, and deficiency documentation.
  • Participate in three-phase control activities and verify contractor compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Monitor materials testing, equipment calibration, and system testing across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire protection, security, and controls systems.
  • Monitor safety, health, and environmental compliance and report violations or risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support progress payment review, change order analysis, contract closeout, as-built verification, and turnover documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of design, construction, or construction management experience in moderately complex projects.
  • Experience reviewing construction submittals, performing site inspections, and preparing technical documentation.
  • Strong technical writing, data management, QA reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of construction QC/QA processes, including three-phase control and federal inspection procedures.
  • Familiarity with federal facility security, safety requirements, and regulated environments.
  • Ability to travel to required meetings at least once weekly in Chantilly, VA and once monthly in Washington, DC.
  • Experience working with federal stakeholders or government contracts is preferred.
  • Ability to comply with facility access requirements, tool control procedures, and security protocols.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including ACA, NEC, NFPA, and OSHA, is preferred.
