Description

  • Lead daily operations and implement guidelines and processes to ensure a cohesive, consistent global protective design program.
  • Manage end-to-end protective design scope across pre-lease, planning, design, construction, and quality assurance to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
  • Plan and specify site hardening (barriers, fencing, lighting) and structural hardening of building perimeters (façades, doors) and interiors (lobbies, mailrooms, critical spaces) for new builds and retrofits.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil/landscape/structural engineers, manufacturers, contractors, operational and technology security teams, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Manage protective design consultant selection, third-party vendor recommendations, and oversight of builds and retrofit projects.
  • Act as primary liaison and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and protective design consultants.
  • Provide regular status updates, communicate planning, issues, and risks to global security team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Support continual improvement through evaluation of current practices, investigation of new products, development of guidance materials, coordination of pilots, and presentation of recommendations and business justification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering (Architectural, Civil, Structural), or Construction Management with 3–5+ years of relevant design and construction supervision experience for offices, or alternatively 6+ years of project management or office design/construction experience.
  • Direct experience with protective design products, systems, and/or projects and knowledge of protective design and construction management in the NORAM region.
  • Experience managing projects through pre-lease, design, and construction phases and documenting, managing, and executing scalable, repeatable processes.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction project phases.
  • Experience communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with PlanGrid or ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and able to travel within the region as required.
