Description

  • Lead, grow, and retain a team of frontend engineers while setting a high bar for technical quality and engineering craft.
  • Own people leadership, delivery leadership, and technical direction for the team.
  • Drive key technical decisions across frontend architecture and cross-team dependencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape roadmaps, scope work, and deliver features and products.
  • Establish and improve engineering processes that maintain speed while limiting technical debt.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering peers and stakeholders across EU and US time zones.
  • Hire and develop talent while building a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the team clearly across the organization by surfacing risks and opportunities early.
  • Roll up your sleeves on architecture and technical decisions when needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a professional setting.
  • Strong frontend engineering background with hands-on familiarity with React, Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Full-stack exposure sufficient to reason about system-level dependencies and collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to make and drive technical decisions, not just facilitate them.
  • Proven experience partnering with Product Management and Design to deliver end-to-end features and products.
  • Based in France or Spain and able to work comfortably across EU business hours.
  • 5+ years managing software engineering teams, including senior engineers or tech leads (preferred).
  • Domain knowledge in Product Analytics, Digital Experience Analytics, or adjacent fields (preferred).
  • Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and experience helping teams adopt them effectively (preferred).
  • Experience managing distributed teams across US, EU, and other time zones (preferred).
