Description

  • Provide customer service for calls and emails from the mortgage lending industry and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
  • Use mortgage industry knowledge and a knowledge database to find answers and respond to client requests.
  • Follow standard operating procedures across topics, systems, and contact channels.
  • Document all customer contacts in the database.
  • Stay current on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems and applications to support client interactions.
  • Use search tools to locate information efficiently for customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years working with FHA loans in a role such as loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, or loan officer, plus 1 additional year of customer service or contact center experience.
  • Or at least 3 years of loan origination experience with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans such as FHA, USDA, or VA.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.
  • Strong time management skills and dependability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.
  • Contact center experience with omnichannel support (preferred).
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills, both verbal and written (preferred).
  • FHA knowledge or experience (preferred).
