Description

  • Design and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using ConnectPrep’s performance metrics and tools.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues to address academic challenges and develop solutions.
  • Prepare students for standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, and AP exams.
  • Use diverse teaching resources and methods to help students master academic concepts.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Support students in developing effective study skills and learning strategies.
  • Stay current on trends, best practices, and resources in K-12 tutoring and test preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related subject area.
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge in at least one core subject area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with online teaching and learning platforms.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
