Description

  • Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using Ceridian/Dayforce.
  • Ensure employee hours, payroll adjustments, 401(k) contributions, garnishments, levies, and tax calculations are accurate and timely.
  • Process off-cycle payrolls and complete federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance and year-end reporting.
  • Generate payroll analytics, reconcile payroll and balance sheet accounts, and support quarterly and year-end audits.
  • Maintain payroll records, standard operating procedures, accounting procedures, and related policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll and operating expense questions, researching and resolving issues.
  • Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor records, support payment runs, and assist with accounts payable reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, FP&A, managers, and third-party providers to optimize payroll systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Experience processing garnishments, levies, liens, support orders, and subpoenas.
  • Familiarity with benefits rules and regulations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.
  • Must meet the company’s vaccination policy or approved exemption requirements.
  • Must pass required child abuse, FBI, Pennsylvania criminal, physical, TB, and drug screenings.
  • Preferred: 4–5 years of payroll experience, Ceridian/Dayforce expertise, payroll-system implementation experience, CPP certification, and accounts payable experience.
