Description

  • Own the health, growth, and performance of the Build Engage engineering team.
  • Lead a team of approximately 10 engineers and support their development and well-being.
  • Oversee delivery and evolution of core Reviews functionality, including feedback loops, collaboration workflows, and CAD model visibility.
  • Guide UI/UX-heavy roadmap areas such as reviews, notifications, navigation, and related product surfaces.
  • Partner closely with product management, design, and product leadership on priorities and execution.
  • Make sound product decisions, manage tradeoffs, and keep the team grounded as priorities shift.
  • Communicate clearly across engineers, product, design, and leadership.
  • Help the team ship consistently while maintaining high-quality product work.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and developing engineering teams in a product-focused environment.
  • Strong communication skills with engineers, product managers, designers, and leadership.
  • Technical fluency, especially in frontend or UI-heavy systems.
  • Experience navigating changing priorities while protecting team health.
  • Come from a frontend or UI-leaning background, with the ability to participate in technical discussions when needed (preferred).
  • Ability to lead a large team of about 10 direct reports with varying strengths and needs (preferred).
  • Product-minded and pragmatic approach to engineering leadership (preferred).
  • Experience pushing a high-performing team to grow without burning out (preferred).
