Description

  • Own the compliance agenda end to end, including readiness for VARA expectations and ongoing supervisory requirements.
  • Serve as the day-to-day interface with VARA and support regulator engagement with clear judgment and credibility.
  • Establish early credibility with UAE regulators and help de-risk the market setup through prior regulatory engagement.
  • Act as the link between Dubai market realities and Coins.ph leadership to keep the program aligned with international expansion priorities.
  • Build scalable compliance controls as business volumes grow.
  • Bring a hands-on, builder mindset to create momentum quickly in a new environment.
  • Balance commercial speed with regulatory credibility and control integrity.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant teams to implement changes that improve customer experience and support growth.

Requirements

  • UAE resident with 5+ years of relevant compliance experience.
  • Hands-on experience in regulated financial services environments aligned to VASP, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience operating as the primary regulator interface.
  • Strong judgment and confidence to build and maintain regulator credibility as the business scales.
  • Prior UAE regulatory engagement is preferred.
  • Experience in a comparable regulated environment in the UAE is acceptable if the candidate can be accepted as a Responsible Individual.
  • Senior compliance leadership experience is required.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building from a standing start is expected.
