Description

  • Lead proactive and reactive earned media strategies across priority global markets.
  • Secure media coverage around regulatory milestones, product launches, executive visibility, and major corporate moments.
  • Partner with senior leaders and regional stakeholders to develop clear, locally relevant messaging.
  • Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking engagements, and strategic announcements.
  • Coordinate communications with Policy, Legal, Product, and regional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Oversee PR agencies and manage media relationships across multiple markets.
  • Support reputation management and disciplined execution in fast-moving, sensitive situations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of international communications experience with a proven track record in earned media and strategic communications.
  • Experience working in global markets, ideally in fintech, crypto, financial services, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of news cycles, messaging discipline, and reputation management.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders and manage complexity across regions and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use generative AI tools and copilots responsibly in daily workflows, including LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean.
  • Ability to apply human-in-the-loop practices and adapt as AI tools evolve.
  • Experience supporting regulatory or policy-driven communications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with global crypto and financial markets is preferred.
  • Experience managing international PR agencies and multi-market campaigns is preferred.

  • Annual base salary range of AUD $159,700.
  • Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility.
