Description

  • Collaborate with product management, experience design, and engineering to maintain high quality standards across products and services.
  • Develop, execute, improve, and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual and automated quality assurance to verify business requirements and customer expectations are met.
  • Identify, track, and report software defects, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices as product complexity evolves.
  • Conduct functional testing and regression testing to uncover defects not covered by existing test cases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role in a desktop software development environment, preferably on Windows and Linux.
  • Demonstrable experience testing visualization/rendering desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing, both manual and automated.
  • Strong understanding of QA disciplines, user story-based test design, functional test plans, regression testing, and performance/load testing scripts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working on a scrum team developing desktop products and/or cloud services.
  • Understanding of software and/or services architecture, development, and testing.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools for desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl (preferred).
  • Experience with scalable automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Behave, Robot Framework, or similar (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AWS or equivalent public clouds (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, algorithms, and related concepts (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Alias, Autodesk VRED, or other 3D visualization or computer-aided industrial design software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive design and visualization is a plus.
