Description

  • Lead the product organization, including Product Managers, Designers, and Product Operations, to focus on high-impact customer and business problems.
  • Set product strategy and translate it into a clear, high-velocity, data-driven roadmap aligned with commercial goals.
  • Coach PMs to deepen ownership of business outcomes, improve discovery, and execute with strong product habits.
  • Own the discovery standard by ensuring squads continuously validate hypotheses with users before major engineering investment.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Engineering to run a dual-track agile R&D engine and keep discovery and delivery aligned.
  • Manage capacity and trade-offs across new features, technical debt, and maintenance to maximize ROI.
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for roadmap decisions, resolving scope disputes and stakeholder misalignment early.
  • Standardize product operations artifacts such as discovery documentation, research databases, the product scorecard, and the rolling roadmap.
  • Represent the Product organization in company-wide forums and communicate roadmap direction clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive lean execution by cutting over-scoped work back to the core value and encouraging lower-cost validation approaches.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a product organization or senior product team, including Product Managers and Designers.
  • Strong background in product strategy, roadmap ownership, and executive-level stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in or leading dual-track agile or closely paired product and engineering operating models.
  • Ability to coach PMs and operate as a player-coach with deep involvement in product discovery and execution.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to optimize the R&D organization for both speed and quality.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex roadmaps to executive and company-wide audiences.
  • Experience using data, customer insight, and market evidence to make product decisions.
  • Familiarity with modern product principles such as SVPG, Cagan-style discovery, and pragmatic experimentation is preferred.
  • Experience building or managing product operations processes, scorecards, or roadmap governance is preferred.
  • Must be based in or able to work remotely from Europe.
