Description

  • Design and prototype how AI capabilities are integrated into CloudTalk’s products, balancing model limitations, latency, cost, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and deliver AI-powered voice and conversation intelligence features.
  • Research, evaluate, and compare new AI models, tools, and architectures for real-world use cases.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas before production implementation.
  • Implement selected solutions in production or partner with engineers to bring them into production.
  • Evaluate and benchmark LLMs and speech models to inform technical decisions and product direction.
  • Design and implement automated evaluation pipelines to shorten the feedback loop between research and production.
  • Improve existing AI capabilities through experimentation, prompt design, and system-level optimizations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of CloudTalk’s systems to design reliable AI integrations.
  • Advocate for best practices in building, testing, and operating AI systems.
  • Stay current on new AI developments and assess their potential impact on CloudTalk’s products.

Requirements

  • Experience working with AI systems, especially LLM-based or speech-based applications.
  • Ability to design practical AI solutions while understanding current model limitations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable experimenting with new models, tools, and AI techniques.
  • Experience evaluating models and making technical decisions based on trade-offs such as quality, cost, latency, and reliability.
  • Ability to prototype quickly and translate ideas into working solutions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Basic understanding of how modern AI models, including LLMs and speech models, work and how to apply them effectively.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze large datasets to evaluate performance, identify edge cases, and guide improvements.
  • Understanding of statistics and experimentation, with the ability to design rigorous evaluations and statistically meaningful benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or Go is a plus.
  • Interest in modern AI development workflows, including AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Experience with speech models, including ASR and TTS.
  • Experience with model evaluation and benchmarking workflows.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
