Description

  • Deliver optimized online user experiences with a focus on usability and visual design.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Conduct research, discovery, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Design graphical user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Build interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Modify existing Angular applications as needed.
  • Provide recommendations and evaluations for new designs and architecture.
  • Stay current on new technologies, design trends, and best practices.
  • Work across client-facing and internal-facing projects with changing requirements.
  • Learn and apply unfamiliar technologies and methods as project needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience.
  • Experience creating wireframes and prototypes.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range and depth of skill in designing effective software experiences.
  • Current knowledge of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience with design and development tools such as Adobe XD, Adobe CC Suite, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps.
  • HTML5 and CSS3 skills with the ability to translate designs to developers.
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A mindset and work style that fit an Agile culture.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred: UI development experience.
  • Preferred: Some JavaScript knowledge.
  • Must be located within commuting distance of Tampa for occasional office visits.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
