Description

  • Define, document, and ensure adoption of the data architecture aligned with the client’s corporate guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve architectural gaps in collaboration with internal teams and the client’s technical leadership.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and in the evolution and maintenance of the corporate data environment.
  • Ensure proper tagging of ingested data to monitor and control project-related costs.
  • Incorporate data governance and data quality best practices into architectural decisions.
  • Manage the non-functional data backlog and help build the architectural roadmap with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to select tools and make technical decisions.
  • Translate complex business problems, including tax reform and fiscal intelligence demands, into data structuring and architectural solutions.
  • Support the implementation and review of data pipelines for efficient capture, ingestion, integration, and preparation of analytical data.
  • Define and implement CI/CD processes for data workloads and support data engineers in dataset exploration and structuring.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cloud data architecture, with emphasis on Azure.
  • Knowledge of Databricks and its AI and analytics solutions, including Genie AI.
  • Strong experience in data modeling, including dimensional, relational, and/or analytical modeling.
  • Experience with large-scale data ingestion and data quality pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience defining data architecture standards, performing technical reviews, and guiding engineering teams.
  • Experience in data projects within financial, fiscal, or tax contexts.
  • Strong technical communication skills with business stakeholders and a consultative, technical leadership profile.
  • Experience working in mixed team structures involving both client and consulting teams.
  • Experience with DataOps and CI/CD applied to data pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in cloud data platforms or data architecture (preferred).
  • Experience in the Brazilian Tax Reform or Fiscal Intelligence projects (preferred).
  • Presence in CI&T offices in Campinas is mandatory for candidates living in the Campinas metropolitan region.
