Description

  • Lead a cloud migration and modernization front for a large global client.
  • Conduct discovery activities across current environments and workloads.
  • Define target architectures using AWS Well-Architected principles.
  • Negotiate and align global architecture standards with stakeholders.
  • Develop modernization strategies when needed to support the migration path.
  • Lead the execution strategy and coordinate delivery across the program.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are met, including availability, disaster recovery, observability, and security.
  • Work with AWS specialists to optimize the migration approach and outcomes.
  • Support financial optimization and FinOps control throughout the migration.
  • Align the solution with a global architecture framework.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS cloud architecture and migration initiatives.
  • Experience migrating workloads from Azure and possibly on-premises environments to AWS.
  • Knowledge of AWS migration and modernization frameworks and processes such as OLA and MAP.
  • Hands-on experience executing Assess, Mobilize, and Migration & Modernization phases in large enterprises.
  • Experience with inventory and conversion tools, including the use of AI to accelerate migration work.
  • Experience in high-security environments with PSI-level standards is a plus.
  • English and Spanish are considered advantages.
  • Mid-senior level experience.
  • Ability to work in a remote/home office model, with on-site presence required in Campinas metro area if applicable.
