Description

  • Develop and manage a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls for MMA.
  • Conduct inventory assessments, maintain stockroom organization, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
  • Develop new customers and strengthen existing business relationships.
  • Maintain and report sales information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate customer requirements and opportunities to the Chemical Division Sales Director.
  • Understand customer end markets and align sales strategies accordingly.
  • Continuously communicate customer needs to internal counterparts to deliver timely and accurate solutions.
  • Increase industry awareness and knowledge by attending industry conferences and company meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school preferred.
  • Around 10 years of domestic sales, local sales, or import experience in the chemical industry.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience at a chemical distribution company; solvent sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business trips.
  • Ability to create new opportunities and convert them into revenue.
  • Resourceful and persistent in prospecting prospective clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
