Description

Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds on customer vehicles.
Diagnose and repair A/C, heater, refrigeration, brake, clutch, cooling, starting, lighting, axle, transmission, driveline, engine, fuel, electrical, steering, suspension, tire, wheel, and TPMS systems.
Use electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and OEM performance tests to identify and correct system faults.
Test circuits and components using continuity, voltage drop, amp draw, short circuit, and parasitic draw diagnostics.
Install and program system modules and complete related calibrations.
Diagnose hybrid, EV, and ADAS concerns.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including fault code identification and service interval resets.
Track and record vehicle information according to department processes.
Assist with general shop duties such as cleaning, driving, organizing, parking, and staging vehicles.
Support leadership, development, and training of other technicians while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the automotive repair field.
All 8 ASE certifications, A-1 through A-8, are required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.
Basic computer skills.
Effective interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets company requirements.
Ability to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.
Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Coaching and mentoring skills are preferred.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check; visa sponsorship is not available.
