Description

  • Review logged internal quality issues and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Spend most of the day on the production floor observing manufacturing processes and identifying waste.
  • Collaborate with safety, quality, and production teams to plan and implement process improvements.
  • Organize and lead cross-functional Kaizen events to improve workstation organization, workflow, and throughput.
  • Implement permanent solutions for safety, quality, and production issues.
  • Use error-proofing methods to support consistent high-quality products for end users.
  • Drive continuous improvement, 6S, and lean manufacturing initiatives across the facility.
  • Analyze existing facility processes and procedures and communicate improvement opportunities to plant leadership and the corporate Continuous Improvement Lead.
  • Coach and mentor others on Kaizen, lean manufacturing, and 6S practices.
  • Report to the Quality Manager and support additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality.
  • A 4-year technical degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanically oriented curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous work style.
  • Experience analyzing data and identifying trends.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving ability.
  • Commitment to product quality and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred: experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or 6S methodologies.
